Mariah Carey Will Release New Single On February 19th

2013 has been a very busy year for Mariah. If you didnt know that she's a new judge on American Idol, then you probably live under a rock. Mariah also has a new album coming out this year around spring time and has been very hush hush about it. "Triumphant" was supposed to be the lead single from it, but due to it's poor reception and performance, that quickly turned into nothing but a mere buzz single. To be quite honest, we would all like to forget that song and leave it in the past. Now lets skip to the future where it appears to be more brighter for the legendary singer-songwriter.

Mariah has recorded a song called "Almost Home" for the upcoming movie called "The Great and Powerful Oz", directed by the one and only Sam Raimi. He's the extremely talented brains behind the Evil Dead series and the first 3 Spiderman movies. Starring James Franco, Mila Kuniz Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz, The film is scheduled to be released March 8th. According to Carey, "'Almost Home" has a message that works beautifully with the film". It’s a feel-good record; it gives you the feeling of reaching your home and being with people that you love.” Mariah also co-wrote and produced the song. It's described as being a mid tempo powerful ballad. David LaChapelle will be directing the music video which has already been filmed. In the past, David has also shot Mariah's "Loveboy" video and photographed her for past album covers. The single will be released on February 19th.

Madame Tussauds Reveals Brand New Whitney Houston Wax Figures

We were all saddened by the sudden loss of Whitney Houston almost one year ago coming up in the following days. Countless singers were inspired by her and her spirit and music will continue to live on forever in our hearts. She had many demons, but at the end of the day, she was one of the most influential people of all time. Thanks to her and Michael Jackson, they helped break down racial barriers associated with black music in the 80's. Before both of them came along, there were no black artists being played on MTV at all. Michael Jackson unknowingly led the revolution for black artists to be played just as frequently as white artists on MTV. Then Whitney followed soon after with her beautiful looks, radiant smile and powerful mammoth voice that could stop anybody in their tracks. It was the perfect formula for crossover appeal.

Now Whitney will be immortalized at Madame Tussuad's Wax Museum. Four wax figures have been made of her to commemorate her legacy and each will be stationed in four different Madame Tussuad's locations. Each figure was built with the idea in mind of capturing every iconic moment in Whitney's 30 year career. The moments in her life that were carefully picked were Whitney singing the National Anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl which will be going to Washington D.C.'s Tussuad's; Hollywood will be getting her Queen of the Night Bodyguard figure; Las Vegas will be getting her younger self as seen in the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" video; and New York will be displaying her likeness during her 2009 "I Look To You" Era. My favorite is the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" figure. It looks absolutely uncanny! I cant wait until I'm able to make a trip to see these amazing wax figures in person (more or less). They will be unveiled Thursday.

Justin Timberlake Reveals New Album Title And Tracklist

With the release of Justin Timberlake's long awaited album drawing nearer everyday, he's decided to tease us by revealing details about the album until then. With a release date set for March 20th, JT revealed the tracklist for "The 20/20 Experience" as well as the album cover art. The title of the album seems to be in correlation to the picture and is somewhat interesting in my opinion. While little information is availible regarding the concept of the album, one thing that Timberlake has said is that he's a perfectionist and that he repeatedly obsesses over any song that he makes until he feels that it's ready to be released. Honestly, I would seriously advise him to rethink that statement because I assure you that his lead single from the album needs to be either reworked, or scrapped completely. Call me an asshole all you want, but that's the way I feel about it. Anyways, see the full tracklist below:

1. "Pusher Love Girl"
2. "Suit & Tie (Feat. Jay Z)
3. "Dont Hold The Wall"
4. "Strawberry Bubblegum"
5. "Tunnel Vision"
6. "Spaceship Coupe"
7. "That Girl"
8. "Let The Groove Get In"
9. "Mirrors"
10. "Blue Ocean Floor"

Miguel Will Perform At The 2013 Grammys

It took awhile, but the list of performers for the 2013 Grammys have finally gotten interesting. The latest artist to shake up the current boring as hell lineup of people to perform is Miguel. However, I'm not pleased at all to hear that he will be performing with that thing known as Wiz Khalifa. The song that they will be performing together has yet to be announced. Miguel is also nominated for 5 grammys for his explosive hit "Adorn" as well as his masterpiece of an album known as "Kaleidoscope Dream". I personally hope he wins all of his nominations because he's a great artist and immensely talented. I also had the pleasure of seeing him perform live and I gotta say that it was a very entertaining experience. His live vocals are on point and he can really move his little self around on the stage. He totally deserves the attention for his great music. Im tired of certain overrated hipster tumbler artists getting all of the recognition instead of hard working musicians like Miguel. Hopefully the biased idiots known as the Grammy committee will not disappoint and award this kid with all of the Grammys he was nominated for. Tune in on February 11th to find out if Miguel will win! In the meantime, pick up Miguel's flawless album known as Kaleidoscope Dream. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Justin Timberlake Redeems Himself With Two New Songs From His Upcoming Album

THANK YOU GOD!! You can only imagine how excited I was about this when I found out that JT previewed some new music from his upcoming album! When I initially heard the news, I felt that I had made it through one hurdle mentally. The next hurdle I had to get through was hoping like hell that the new music he previewed sounded nothing like his abysmal Robin Thicke reject song "Suit and Tie". I am proud to say that I have made it through both of those hurdles successfully because JT really came through with the goods this time! At the Direct TV Super Saturday Night Event, Justin debuted two new tracks called "Pusher Love Girl" and "That Girl". These songs are from his upcoming album called "The 20/20 Experience" which will be released March 20th. "Pusher Love Girl" is an energetic piece surely to get you out of your seat and starting to sway back and forth. Its my favorite song so far. "That Girl" is a bit more smoother but will nevertheless capture your attention and will have you bobbing your head. At this point, I can honestly say that these two new songs are serving as definite redemption from that other mess of a song.

Beyonce Made Me Say "Meh" During The SuperBowl Halftime Show

I know y'all are probably expecting a long, drawn out essay about Beyonce's Performance at the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show and how iconic and wonderful it was, but I'll tell you this right now. Its not gonna happen. You know why? Its because there are already enough blogs overrating this performance of hers to hell and proclaiming her as one of the best pop singers that ever lived. However, you will NOT hear any of that bullshit from me because I know for a fact that it's not true. If what you're expecting to read is a bunch of ass kissing, then please proceed to click that red button with an "X" on it located in the top right hand corner of your computer screen. I am here to state how I honestly feel, so that's what you're gonna get is the truth.

Beyonce started off with a bang by singing a snippet of her infectious hit "Love On Top" which left me wanting more. A shame she didn't perform it in its entirety because I love to hear her sing this song live. After a brief stint of "Love on Top", she segued more or less into a medley of her biggest hits including "Baby Boy" and "Crazy In Love". The beginning choreography seemed very reminiscent of a Michael Jackson routine, however, this can be expected. After all, Plagiaronce did say that she would be seeking inspiration (stealing) from past Super Bowl performances, so the blatant attempts of copy and pasting can be expected. Especially when one lacks enough creativity and imagination to come up with their own ideas.

Then came the real big surprise when Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams popped up from the depths of irrelevancy to join their former band member onstage to sing "Bootylicious", "Independent Woman" and "Single Ladies". When their services werent required anymore, Beyonce sent them back to the basement with Solange and then continued to have an ass seizure onstage for the rest of the show. The last song she performed was "Halo".

Since this performance aired, the rabid hoodrats who never graduated high school known as the Beyonce stans have all came out in full force to defend their cult leader idol. I've heard things as ridiculous as "Beyonce is the greatest entertainer that ever lived", "Beyonce is the greatest artist of all time" and various other psychotic delusions. I'm sure that the Bey stans will be shouting her praises from the windows of their project apartments from here until the end of time.

Justin Timberlake Will Perform At The 2013 Grammy Awards

:SIGH: As if Justin Timberlake's new song called "Suit and Tie" wasnt torture enough. Now Mr. Timberlake has decided to extend his methods of torture even further and perform his Robin Thicke ripoff song at the 2013 Grammy Awards. This performance will serve as a means of promotion for his long awaited upcoming album called "The 20/20 Experience" which is scheduled to be released March 20. Im a big fan of "Future/Sex Love/Sounds", but "Suit and Tie" was a huge anticlimactic letdown. Timberlake had been away from the musical scene for years, so he's had more than enough time to expand in the aspect of creativity and innovation. Instead, what we're left with is something that sounds like someone doing their worst Robin Thicke impersonation and subpar production. One can argue that the same mixed response was repeated when "Sexyback" made its debut, but that was mainly due to the fact that Sexyback it was ahead of it's time. This, on the other hand just sounds like a subpar version of somebody else's work. If I was wrong, then Robin Thicke's namesake wouldnt have been a trending twitter topic minutes after this song was released to the public. Tee he he! I cant say one positive thing about this sorry ass song. However, I will wait until I have fully heard the entire album to make a full judgement.
