Ive got some good news and some bad news for you folks. For all of the people who are anticipating Beyonce's glorious return to the spotlight, you will be rewarded soon. She'll be debuting a new HBO Documentary next month. The bad news is that Beyonce still has the articulation skills of a special ed student. Im sorry, folks. At this point, you may think Im just being a "jealous fucking hater who is broke" (as the Beyonce stans would call it), but I dont think Im asking for much. I was just hoping that someone with a newly acquired GED and enough money to buy the entire world would've probably improved in the articulation department by now.
In the below preview of the upcoming documentary, Beyonce struggles to get through simple sentences while boasting about the immense success she's garnered throughout her career. Hmmmm. I guess money cannot buy you class. Oh well. Who the fuck needs knowledge or intelligence when youre rich beyond your wildest dreams, right?
Watch the preview of the documentary below. It will air on February 16 at 9 pm ET.
Oh boy I cant tell you how excited I am for the Grammys! Not only did a large group of overrated as hell people get nominated, but I also found out that Rihanna is going to perform!
Gee golly wiz! This should be a great show! Expect for Rihanna to captivate millions with her one of a kind sultry moves and heavenly voice. You could only wish to have a tone as unique as Rihanna's, bitch!<-------Now That is the kind of shit that Rihanna stans say, but since Im far from being a Rihanna stan, I will translate that into english for you folks. Expect Rihanna to run around on the stage like she's running from another ass whooping from Fist Brown and warble like a goat giving birth to an 18 wheeler. These examples, my friends is an example of what today's standards regard as being a great performer! Sad isnt it? Anyways, other artists have been added to the roster of performers such as fun., Trailor Stiff, Mumford & Sons and The Black Keys. All of which means that this is gearing up to be a pretty boring as hell show, unless Trailor Stiff gets another interruption from Kanye.
When I first sat down to watch the Mariah Carey interview with Barbara Walters, I honestly didnt know what to expect. I was not expecting to be induced into a series of endless cackles simply because of some casual shade that Mariah delivered in regards to a certain talentless ho clown that shouldn't be judging anybody's talent at all! In the days following the premiere of American Idol, Ms. Carey sat down for a interview with her friend Bah Bah Wah Wah. They discussed Mariah's countless accomplishments, what she hopes to bring to the AI table, and her feud with Pennywise The Clown Nicki Minaj.
Apparently, Nicki had put out a diss track about Mariah, but nobody gave a damn because she's on her way out of here in terms of relevancy. Hell, I didnt even know! I guess sooner or later she will be back to the amateur days of hiding in the sewers and drains, terrorizing innocent children. Maybe she should've thought about that before decided to act like a bitch ass hoodrat to one of the most respected musicians in the industry. Anyways, Barbara decided to read the lyrics of the diss track to Mariah and ask her if she felt that it was herself that Minaj was referring to. Then came one of the funniest moments in tv. Mariah responded by saying...
"I didnt know she sang. I thought she was a rapper or.. something."
All I have to say about this is...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This may not be that funny to some, but it sure as hell made me laugh out loud so that's all that matters! Now if youre not able to read between the lines like I am, I will decipher it for you. The above excerpt from what Mariah said is basically poking fun at the fact that this sorry ass ho Nicki sold herself out to become a popstar in lieu of a real female rapper. This is one of the many reasons why she's a joke of the industry and always will be just that. BAM! Mariah has always been proficient at throwing the best shade, so therefore this doesnt surprise me at all! Subtlety is most certainly the key!
Watch the interview below. The magic moment begins at 04:17.
It all started with the immaculate album known as "Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite" back in 1996. Three albums later, fans have remained bewitched by the enormously talented singer-songwriter known as the one and only.....Maxwell. It's been four years since Maxwell released his hit record "BLACKsummers'night" with the inescapable lead single "Pretty Wings". Eventhough the innovative musician takes many years in between releasing albums to grow artistically, his fans have remained intact, loyal and vow to make whatever he releases a platinum record. You can imagine how everyone started buzzing when he recently released the partial tracklist to his upcoming album titled "Summers'", tentatively scheduled to be released later on this year. Then, he decided to take it one step further and shake up the place even more. A couple of days later, he released a snippet of a song called "Gods". This song will appear on the upcoming aforementioned album. I've heard this song, and all I have to say is 'ILL BITE!!". If you take music as seriously as I do, prepare to have your very inner core shaken by this snippet. The only thing about this that upset me is that its a snippet because by the end, I was begging for more.
People in Austrailia truly have the patience of Job. After patiently waiting for over a decade, countless prayers, and countless twitter trending topics like "Australia Wants Mariah Carey", and cutting trough miles of red tape, the Aussie Lambs were finally rewarded with their wish. 15 years had elapsed since Mariah Carey's stilettos stepped on Australian soil, so therefore a visitation from the Songbird Supreme was long overdue. From my years of gathering news, Australia had not been very nice to Mariah in the tabloids so maybe that can be attributed to why she had not ventured there since the Butterfly Tour. Anyways, Mariah kicked off the new year by performing 3 shows in 3 different cities in Australia. The first in Gold Coast, the second in Sydney and the final one in Melbourne. Im proud to say that all 3 shows had myriad fantastic moments because Mariah's iconic voice was in it's finest vocal form. Lets have a moment and mention the high points of each show, shall we?
Gold Coast:
Mariah first got things warmed up in the Gold Coast. One of the many high points of this particular show occurred when Mariah experienced technical difficulties with sound. However, in lieu of just bawling out the sound technicians, Mariah creatively bawled them out by singing through her frustrations with a series of powerful well executed ad libs that were all on key and nothing short of awe inspiring! Mariah truly has an ear for music. Once again, she showcases her impeccable ability to remain on key regardless of what octave she's in! Peep the video below:
Sydney:
One thing that always gets the Lambs giddy is when Mariah decides to sing songs from her earlier work. Due to Mariah coming down with a case of the nostalgia, she decided to treat her fans to something really special. The residents of Sydney Australia truly got a wonderful taste of the old school. Mariah shocked the hell out of everyone by performing snippets of "Love Takes Time" and "Can't Let Go". She had not sang these since her Adventures of Mimi Tour back in 2006 but nevertheless sounded excellent! It truly was something to be heard. Don't believe me? Take a listen below:
Melbourne:
Since this was Mariah's last stop in the land down under, she decided to vocally go out with a bang. As I've said before, every single show was consistently amazing, I'm just pointing out my opinion of what were the magic moments of each show. For this last leg, Mariah performed one of her christian classics, "Fly Like a Bird" from the "Emancipation of Mimi" album. The vocal power house was nothing short of magnificent during this song, so it's surely to have you jumping up and down praising whoever your almighty is.
