Mariah Carey Will Release New Single On February 19th

2013 has been a very busy year for Mariah. If you didnt know that she's a new judge on American Idol, then you probably live under a rock. Mariah also has a new album coming out this year around spring time and has been very hush hush about it. "Triumphant" was supposed to be the lead single from it, but due to it's poor reception and performance, that quickly turned into nothing but a mere buzz single. To be quite honest, we would all like to forget that song and leave it in the past. Now lets skip to the future where it appears to be more brighter for the legendary singer-songwriter.

Mariah has recorded a song called "Almost Home" for the upcoming movie called "The Great and Powerful Oz", directed by the one and only Sam Raimi. He's the extremely talented brains behind the Evil Dead series and the first 3 Spiderman movies. Starring James Franco, Mila Kuniz Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz, The film is scheduled to be released March 8th. According to Carey, "'Almost Home" has a message that works beautifully with the film". It’s a feel-good record; it gives you the feeling of reaching your home and being with people that you love.” Mariah also co-wrote and produced the song. It's described as being a mid tempo powerful ballad. David LaChapelle will be directing the music video which has already been filmed. In the past, David has also shot Mariah's "Loveboy" video and photographed her for past album covers. The single will be released on February 19th.

Madame Tussauds Reveals Brand New Whitney Houston Wax Figures

We were all saddened by the sudden loss of Whitney Houston almost one year ago coming up in the following days. Countless singers were inspired by her and her spirit and music will continue to live on forever in our hearts. She had many demons, but at the end of the day, she was one of the most influential people of all time. Thanks to her and Michael Jackson, they helped break down racial barriers associated with black music in the 80's. Before both of them came along, there were no black artists being played on MTV at all. Michael Jackson unknowingly led the revolution for black artists to be played just as frequently as white artists on MTV. Then Whitney followed soon after with her beautiful looks, radiant smile and powerful mammoth voice that could stop anybody in their tracks. It was the perfect formula for crossover appeal.

Now Whitney will be immortalized at Madame Tussuad's Wax Museum. Four wax figures have been made of her to commemorate her legacy and each will be stationed in four different Madame Tussuad's locations. Each figure was built with the idea in mind of capturing every iconic moment in Whitney's 30 year career. The moments in her life that were carefully picked were Whitney singing the National Anthem at the 1991 Super Bowl which will be going to Washington D.C.'s Tussuad's; Hollywood will be getting her Queen of the Night Bodyguard figure; Las Vegas will be getting her younger self as seen in the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" video; and New York will be displaying her likeness during her 2009 "I Look To You" Era. My favorite is the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" figure. It looks absolutely uncanny! I cant wait until I'm able to make a trip to see these amazing wax figures in person (more or less). They will be unveiled Thursday.

Justin Timberlake Reveals New Album Title And Tracklist

With the release of Justin Timberlake's long awaited album drawing nearer everyday, he's decided to tease us by revealing details about the album until then. With a release date set for March 20th, JT revealed the tracklist for "The 20/20 Experience" as well as the album cover art. The title of the album seems to be in correlation to the picture and is somewhat interesting in my opinion. While little information is availible regarding the concept of the album, one thing that Timberlake has said is that he's a perfectionist and that he repeatedly obsesses over any song that he makes until he feels that it's ready to be released. Honestly, I would seriously advise him to rethink that statement because I assure you that his lead single from the album needs to be either reworked, or scrapped completely. Call me an asshole all you want, but that's the way I feel about it. Anyways, see the full tracklist below:

1. "Pusher Love Girl"
2. "Suit & Tie (Feat. Jay Z)
3. "Dont Hold The Wall"
4. "Strawberry Bubblegum"
5. "Tunnel Vision"
6. "Spaceship Coupe"
7. "That Girl"
8. "Let The Groove Get In"
9. "Mirrors"
10. "Blue Ocean Floor"

Miguel Will Perform At The 2013 Grammys

It took awhile, but the list of performers for the 2013 Grammys have finally gotten interesting. The latest artist to shake up the current boring as hell lineup of people to perform is Miguel. However, I'm not pleased at all to hear that he will be performing with that thing known as Wiz Khalifa. The song that they will be performing together has yet to be announced. Miguel is also nominated for 5 grammys for his explosive hit "Adorn" as well as his masterpiece of an album known as "Kaleidoscope Dream". I personally hope he wins all of his nominations because he's a great artist and immensely talented. I also had the pleasure of seeing him perform live and I gotta say that it was a very entertaining experience. His live vocals are on point and he can really move his little self around on the stage. He totally deserves the attention for his great music. Im tired of certain overrated hipster tumbler artists getting all of the recognition instead of hard working musicians like Miguel. Hopefully the biased idiots known as the Grammy committee will not disappoint and award this kid with all of the Grammys he was nominated for. Tune in on February 11th to find out if Miguel will win! In the meantime, pick up Miguel's flawless album known as Kaleidoscope Dream. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Justin Timberlake Redeems Himself With Two New Songs From His Upcoming Album

THANK YOU GOD!! You can only imagine how excited I was about this when I found out that JT previewed some new music from his upcoming album! When I initially heard the news, I felt that I had made it through one hurdle mentally. The next hurdle I had to get through was hoping like hell that the new music he previewed sounded nothing like his abysmal Robin Thicke reject song "Suit and Tie". I am proud to say that I have made it through both of those hurdles successfully because JT really came through with the goods this time! At the Direct TV Super Saturday Night Event, Justin debuted two new tracks called "Pusher Love Girl" and "That Girl". These songs are from his upcoming album called "The 20/20 Experience" which will be released March 20th. "Pusher Love Girl" is an energetic piece surely to get you out of your seat and starting to sway back and forth. Its my favorite song so far. "That Girl" is a bit more smoother but will nevertheless capture your attention and will have you bobbing your head. At this point, I can honestly say that these two new songs are serving as definite redemption from that other mess of a song.

Beyonce Made Me Say "Meh" During The SuperBowl Halftime Show

I know y'all are probably expecting a long, drawn out essay about Beyonce's Performance at the 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show and how iconic and wonderful it was, but I'll tell you this right now. Its not gonna happen. You know why? Its because there are already enough blogs overrating this performance of hers to hell and proclaiming her as one of the best pop singers that ever lived. However, you will NOT hear any of that bullshit from me because I know for a fact that it's not true. If what you're expecting to read is a bunch of ass kissing, then please proceed to click that red button with an "X" on it located in the top right hand corner of your computer screen. I am here to state how I honestly feel, so that's what you're gonna get is the truth.

Beyonce started off with a bang by singing a snippet of her infectious hit "Love On Top" which left me wanting more. A shame she didn't perform it in its entirety because I love to hear her sing this song live. After a brief stint of "Love on Top", she segued more or less into a medley of her biggest hits including "Baby Boy" and "Crazy In Love". The beginning choreography seemed very reminiscent of a Michael Jackson routine, however, this can be expected. After all, Plagiaronce did say that she would be seeking inspiration (stealing) from past Super Bowl performances, so the blatant attempts of copy and pasting can be expected. Especially when one lacks enough creativity and imagination to come up with their own ideas.

Then came the real big surprise when Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams popped up from the depths of irrelevancy to join their former band member onstage to sing "Bootylicious", "Independent Woman" and "Single Ladies". When their services werent required anymore, Beyonce sent them back to the basement with Solange and then continued to have an ass seizure onstage for the rest of the show. The last song she performed was "Halo".

Since this performance aired, the rabid hoodrats who never graduated high school known as the Beyonce stans have all came out in full force to defend their cult leader idol. I've heard things as ridiculous as "Beyonce is the greatest entertainer that ever lived", "Beyonce is the greatest artist of all time" and various other psychotic delusions. I'm sure that the Bey stans will be shouting her praises from the windows of their project apartments from here until the end of time.

Justin Timberlake Will Perform At The 2013 Grammy Awards

:SIGH: As if Justin Timberlake's new song called "Suit and Tie" wasnt torture enough. Now Mr. Timberlake has decided to extend his methods of torture even further and perform his Robin Thicke ripoff song at the 2013 Grammy Awards. This performance will serve as a means of promotion for his long awaited upcoming album called "The 20/20 Experience" which is scheduled to be released March 20. Im a big fan of "Future/Sex Love/Sounds", but "Suit and Tie" was a huge anticlimactic letdown. Timberlake had been away from the musical scene for years, so he's had more than enough time to expand in the aspect of creativity and innovation. Instead, what we're left with is something that sounds like someone doing their worst Robin Thicke impersonation and subpar production. One can argue that the same mixed response was repeated when "Sexyback" made its debut, but that was mainly due to the fact that Sexyback it was ahead of it's time. This, on the other hand just sounds like a subpar version of somebody else's work. If I was wrong, then Robin Thicke's namesake wouldnt have been a trending twitter topic minutes after this song was released to the public. Tee he he! I cant say one positive thing about this sorry ass song. However, I will wait until I have fully heard the entire album to make a full judgement.

Adele Will Perform At The 2013 Academy Awards

There is a slew of flop artists that would give anything to currently be in Adele's shoes! When Adele's award statues arrive by mail to her huge ass castle and her butler asks "where should I put this, ma'am?" I bet she says "just throw that shit over there with the others!" Adele is living proof that if you're a REAL singer-songwriter, your talents will be recognized. Adele's "Skyfall" song that SHE WROTE HERSELF has experienced a huge amount of success as well as countless accolades. It's been certified platinum, debuted at #8 on the Hot 100 and recently won a Golden Globe for Best Original Song to name a few. As if that weren't enough, "Skyfall" has also received the amazing honor of being nominated for an Academy Award. Now, the 24 year old has confirmed that she will be performing her hit song at the ceremony. It will be the first time that Adele has performed the song live. Expect the song to climb even higher than #8 on the charts and also expect her to win that Oscar. Im calling it right now. Tune in of February 24th at 8/7c to see if she wins.

Kelly Clarkson Blows Beyoncé Away At The Inauguration

While some people were trying to make bullshit excuses about why they lip-synced for one of the most important moments in history, Kelly Clarkson was receiving universal praise for singing live! Kelly Clarkson was chosen along with Plagiaraonce to perform at the Presidential Inauguration and boy did she perform! She chose to sing "My Country Tis of Thee" and soared through the song with great panache and thunderous vocals. She didn't even start off shaky. She started off strong, and ended it even stronger with a crescendo that will leave you shaking your head, raising your hands and hollering YEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!! As the first winner of American Idol over 10 years ago, Kelly showed us why she's still arguably the best winner to date. Texas girls are doing it big, ya'll!

On a side note: Am I the only one who sees Bill Clinton in the background looking at Kelly all creepy and such? Tee he he!

Catch her flawless performance below:

What's The Difference Between Beyoncé And A Mime?

NOT A DAMN THING!! You know why? Because at President Obama's inauguration, Ms. Plagiaroncé Knowels proved that she's no different from one of those mime artists that you see trying tirelessly to get themselves out of a damn invisible box! Beyoncé was approached to lend her talent to President Obama's inauguration by singing the "Star Spangled Banner". She gladly accepted, as anyone would. The problem is that when Beyonce began to sing, some of us started to notice that something was suspicious. The singing sounded wonderful, but a little too wonderful. I immediately summoned my incomparable Scooby Doo skills to figure out what the hell was going on.

Beyonce seemed to be sangin' for her life, but there was no wind to be heard blowing through the microphone. Due to the location being in Washington, it was undoubtedly cold as hell and the wind was blowing harder than Rihanna blew Camel Z to get a record deal. This was proven when the hard winds were clearly audible when the legendary James Taylor sang as well as Kelly Clarkson when she sang "My Country Tis of Thee". However, aside from a small cough, the crisp winds didn't stop James nor Kelly from giving a flawless performance in honor of The Prez.  Could it have been that Bey had the best quality noise canceling microphone in the business??? FUCK NOOOOOOOO!! Homegirl was lip syncing for her life!!

Within a days time, this blew up and made the headlines, although Im not sure why. There are more serious problems in the world to be worried about like Korea threatening to blow our asses to Kingdom Come, yet Bey's lip syncing flub was deemed to be more vital information to be learned. This is why America will forever have it twisted! The news even went as far as reaching out to a rep for the Marine Corp Band, who ultimately confirmed that Beyoncé did in fact lip sync. The rep explained ---

"it was standard procedure to record a backing track and Beyoncé decided shortly before her performance to rely on the studio version rather than risk singing it live on the Capitol."

Then, maybe a day or two after that statement was released, the rep for the Marine Corp tried to retract the living hell out of that statement by saying this---

"Marine Corps spokesman Capt. Gregory Wolf said that because there was no opportunity for Beyonce to rehearse with the Marine Band, it was determined that a live performance by the band was ill advised. Instead they used a pre-recorded track for the band's portion of the song. "Regarding Ms. Knowles-Carter's vocal performance," Wolf's statement continued, "no one in the Marine Band is in a position to assess whether it was live or pre-recorded".

How the hell are you gonna try and backpedal now that you've already spilled the damn beans??  PLEASE! If Kelly Clarkson sang live and gave a flawless performance, then what was this ho's excuse? Beyoncé  and her entire whack ass team can kiss my black aerobicized ass if they think I'm stupid enough to buy this. The only people brain dead enough to believe this is of course the one and only Bey Hive!! The Marine Corps was just scared as fuck they were gonna either A.) Get the sh!t sued out of them or B.) Get sacrificed by the illuminati! LMAO!

Adele Wins Golden Globe For Skyfall

The Adele fever doesn't seem like it will be subsiding anytime soon. Aside from winning the big 6 at the Grammys, selling more than 10 million copies of "21" and countless other accolades, Ms. Adele Adkins (I love this chick's name) has managed to attain yet another major accomplishment. The curvy singer-songwriter won a Golden Globe for "Best Original Song" due to her composing and performing her hit song "Skyfall". She was approached to do this song for the latest Bond film of the same name. "Skyfall" was released to universal acclaim and peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, that's not all, folks. It's went to #1 in 14 countries, has been certified platinum, and has also been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. I'm not surprised at all that Adele won because the song is hella awesome.

The soulful diva accepted her Golden Globe with great humility and briefly spoke about her newly acquired motherhood with seething happiness. She ended her speech by simply saying "Thank you for letting me be apart of your world". This is the kind of humble and wholesome behavior that is making the world fall in love with her over and over again. Its admittedly so refreshing to see a none egotistical woman who doesn't have the shape of a Popsicle stick amass such an unprecedented amount of success. I wish this girl the best of luck and I'm predicting that she will undoubtedly win that Oscar! You heard it first from me, folks!

Beyonce Demonstrates Impeccable Articulation Skills

Ive got some good news and some bad news for you folks. For all of the people who are anticipating Beyonce's glorious return to the spotlight, you will be rewarded soon. She'll be debuting a new HBO Documentary next month. The bad news is that Beyonce still has the articulation skills of a special ed student. Im sorry, folks. At this point, you may think Im just being a "jealous fucking hater who is broke" (as the Beyonce stans would call it), but I dont think Im asking for much. I was just hoping that someone with a newly acquired GED and enough money to buy the entire world would've probably improved in the articulation department by now.

In the below preview of the upcoming documentary, Beyonce struggles to get through simple sentences while boasting about the immense success she's garnered throughout her career. Hmmmm. I guess money cannot buy you class. Oh well. Who the fuck needs knowledge or intelligence when youre rich beyond your wildest dreams, right?

Watch the preview of the documentary below. It will air on February 16 at 9 pm ET.

Aw Hell: Coconut Girl Is Performing At The Grammys

Oh boy I cant tell you how excited I am for the Grammys! Not only did a large group of overrated as hell people get nominated, but I also found out that Rihanna is going to perform!

Gee golly wiz! This should be a great show! Expect for Rihanna to captivate millions with her one of a kind sultry moves and heavenly voice. You could only wish to have a tone as unique as Rihanna's, bitch!<-------Now That is the kind of shit that Rihanna stans say, but since Im far from being a Rihanna stan, I will translate that into english for you folks. Expect Rihanna to run around on the stage like she's running from another ass whooping from Fist Brown and warble like a goat giving birth to an 18 wheeler. These examples, my friends is an example of what today's standards regard as being a great performer! Sad isnt it? Anyways, other artists have been added to the roster of performers such as fun., Trailor Stiff, Mumford & Sons and The Black Keys. All of which means that this is gearing up to be a pretty boring as hell show, unless Trailor Stiff gets another interruption from Kanye.

All Mariah Carey Needs Is Subtlety to Completely Embarass Your Ass!

When I first sat down to watch the Mariah Carey interview with Barbara Walters, I honestly didnt know what to expect. I was not expecting to be induced into a series of endless cackles simply because of some casual shade that Mariah delivered in regards to a certain talentless ho clown that shouldn't be judging anybody's talent at all! In the days following the premiere of American Idol, Ms. Carey sat down for a interview with her friend Bah Bah Wah Wah. They discussed Mariah's countless accomplishments, what she hopes to bring to the AI table, and her feud with Pennywise The Clown Nicki Minaj.

Apparently, Nicki had put out a diss track about Mariah, but nobody gave a damn because she's on her way out of here in terms of relevancy. Hell, I didnt even know! I guess sooner or later she will be back to the amateur days of hiding in the sewers and drains, terrorizing innocent children. Maybe she should've thought about that before decided to act like a bitch ass hoodrat to one of the most respected musicians in the industry. Anyways, Barbara decided to read the lyrics of the diss track to Mariah and ask her if she felt that it was herself that Minaj was referring to. Then came one of the funniest moments in tv. Mariah responded by saying...

"I didnt know she sang. I thought she was a rapper or.. something."

All I have to say about this is...HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This may not be that funny to some, but it sure as hell made me laugh out loud so that's all that matters! Now if youre not able to read between the lines like I am, I will decipher it for you. The above excerpt from what Mariah said is basically poking fun at the fact that this sorry ass ho Nicki sold herself out to become a popstar in lieu of a real female rapper. This is one of the many reasons why she's a joke of the industry and always will be just that. BAM! Mariah has always been proficient at throwing the best shade, so therefore this doesnt surprise me at all! Subtlety is most certainly the key!

Watch the interview below. The magic moment begins at 04:17.

Maxwell Teases With New Album Details And Snippet

It all started with the immaculate album known as "Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite" back in 1996. Three albums later, fans have remained bewitched by the enormously talented singer-songwriter known as the one and only.....Maxwell. It's been four years since Maxwell released his hit record "BLACKsummers'night" with the inescapable lead single "Pretty Wings". Eventhough the innovative musician takes many years in between releasing albums to grow artistically, his fans have remained intact, loyal and vow to make whatever he releases a platinum record. You can imagine how everyone started buzzing when he recently released the partial tracklist to his upcoming album titled "Summers'", tentatively scheduled to be released later on this year. Then, he decided to take it one step further and shake up the place even more. A couple of days later, he released a snippet of a song called "Gods". This song will appear on the upcoming aforementioned album. I've heard this song, and all I have to say is 'ILL BITE!!". If you take music as seriously as I do, prepare to have your very inner core shaken by this snippet. The only thing about this that upset me is that its a snippet because by the end, I was begging for more.

Listen to "Gods" below:

Mariah Carey Takes Austrailia By Storm

People in Austrailia truly have the patience of Job. After patiently waiting for over a decade, countless prayers, and countless twitter trending topics like "Australia Wants Mariah Carey", and cutting trough miles of red tape, the Aussie Lambs were finally rewarded with their wish. 15 years had elapsed since Mariah Carey's stilettos stepped on Australian soil, so therefore a visitation from the Songbird Supreme was long overdue. From my years of gathering news, Australia had not been very nice to Mariah in the tabloids so maybe that can be attributed to why she had not ventured there since the Butterfly Tour. Anyways, Mariah kicked off the new year by performing 3 shows in 3 different cities in Australia. The first in Gold Coast, the second in Sydney and the final one in Melbourne. Im proud to say that all 3 shows had myriad fantastic moments because Mariah's iconic voice was in it's finest vocal form. Lets have a moment and mention the high points of each show, shall we?

Gold Coast:

Mariah first got things warmed up in the Gold Coast. One of the many high points of this particular show occurred when Mariah experienced technical difficulties with sound. However, in lieu of just bawling out the sound technicians, Mariah creatively bawled them out by singing through her frustrations with a series of powerful well executed ad libs that were all on key and nothing short of awe inspiring! Mariah truly has an ear for music. Once again, she showcases her impeccable ability to remain on key regardless of what octave she's in! Peep the video below:

Sydney:

One thing that always gets the Lambs giddy is when Mariah decides to sing songs from her earlier work. Due to Mariah coming down with a case of the nostalgia, she decided to treat her fans to something really special. The residents of Sydney Australia truly got a wonderful taste of the old school. Mariah shocked the hell out of everyone by performing snippets of "Love Takes Time" and "Can't Let Go". She had not sang these since her Adventures of Mimi Tour back in 2006 but nevertheless sounded excellent! It truly was something to be heard. Don't believe me? Take a listen below:

Melbourne:

Since this was Mariah's last stop in the land down under, she decided to vocally go out with a bang. As I've said before, every single show was consistently amazing, I'm just pointing out my opinion of what were the magic moments of each show. For this last leg, Mariah performed one of her christian classics, "Fly Like a Bird" from the "Emancipation of Mimi" album. The vocal power house was nothing short of magnificent during this song, so it's surely to have you jumping up and down praising whoever your almighty is.
