As all of you already know, President Barack Obama has been reelected for a second term, equaling 8 years in the white house. The amazing feat will mark the first time a black president has been re-elected and the third time overall that a president has been re-elected at all. Many stars and musicians made their joy of this announcement public, including the Songbird Supreme, Mariah Carey. Months ago, Ms. Carey stated that she had wrote a song in support of Obama's campaign to become president again. She even performed it especially for him at a private ceremony. However she stated on twitter that she wouldnt publicly release the song unless Obama won the election. Since then, a small snippet video of Carey performing had surfaced online, but due to the extremely bad quality of the video, nothing was clearly audible or ascertainable. A day after Obama's re-election was announced, Troll Dupri debuted the song on his twitter. Since then, it was happily made its way to Youtube and garnered a significant amount of views literally just days after its release. The song showcases Carey going back to basics with nothing but instrumentation and vocals, which is what we've always wanted. Her voice is deeper this time around, but nonetheless powerful and capable of doing melismas and whistle notes like second nature.
